Lynn Hollyfield, originally from Staten Island, NY, is now rooted in the Washington, DC area. Lynn writes in a contemporary folk style but often slips in jazz chord progressions and some bluesy guitar chops along with her passionate vocals. Think of Mary Chapin Carpenter meets Bonnie Raitt playing a classic Gershwin tune with a down home feel.
