Grace Griffith and Lynn Hollyfield are esteemed
in their own right as individual performers. However,
on special occasions like this intimate evening at 49 West,
they each bring a gift of music of uncommon beauty and
power to sooth the soul.
Their eclectic mix of traditional & contemporary folk,
blues, jazz-infused contemporary and original songs
(many penned by Hollyfield), laced with exquisite harmonies
and folk songs that grow lovelier with each listen,
will surely leave the audience transformed by
the beauty of it all.
Grace was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1998
and this has hampered her energy, forced her to put
her guitar, penny whistle, and her career as a
physical therapist on the shelf except for rare
performances like this one.

is a summer-long arts festival sponsored by St. Charles,
the Charles County Arts Alliance, and the Southern Maryland
Agricultural Development Commission. Featuring a variety

being held every Friday night beginning at 7 p.m.
through Labor Day weekend. The St. Charles Sunset Concert Festival
and Farmers Market will be held every Friday through Labor Day weekend.
